Hello! My name is Zack Silverberg, and I’m a professional guitarist based in Bushwick, NY. I specialize in jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop, rock and roll, and other styles that get people moving. I believe the guitar serves the same role as the drums: to make people dance. This philosophy has led to opportunities to perform and collaborate with some of my favorite musicians, including The Marcus King Band, Jon Faddis, Binky Griptite (Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings / Amy Winehouse), David Dejesus, Victory Boyd (Kanye West, Infinity Song), Jamal Corrie (The Voice), and many others.

I view learning guitar as a lifelong journey. Every day, I strive to grow and become a better musician than I was the day before. That mindset has helped me build a full-time career doing what I love.

My passion for learning translates directly into my passion for teaching. Through my own experience with mentors, I’ve seen how a great teacher can completely change a person's life. For over nine years, I’ve shared my approach with students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop both their musical abilities and their confidence as musicians.
